If there wasn’t a panorama function on my camera, then on this trip to Mongolia, I would have done what we all did pre-pano; shot consecutive overlapping photos and digitally stitched them together.
For the landscape of Mongolia is one that demands a panorama view. From the sweeping vistas across the Altai mountains in the west, to the vast expanses of ridges and wide valleys of the east. I imagine the endless steppe and the sands and cliffs of the Gobi equally demand this form of view finding worship.
